Our technologies include:

Digital dental x-rays – using digital x-rays reduces the radiation. Our digital x-ray equipment produces high quality images of areas invisible to the naked eye. This allows our dentists to see any areas of concern, for example infection or decay. We highly recommend taking X-rays periodically, typically every two years for healthy adults so we can keep an eye on any changes to your dental health.

Intra-oral camera. Our intra-oral camera is tiny, enabling our dentists to take detailed, sharp images right inside your mouth. These images are displayed on the screens in our surgeries and we find it is much easier for us to explain areas of concern and any treatment required to correct dental problems so you will know exactly what is happening.

Sterilisation Autoclaves. Our up-to-date sterilisation autoclaves protect you against infection and are used to sterilise non-disposable equipment and hand tools. Bacteria are destroyed by the autoclave which produces pressurised steam. Afterwards equipment and tools are stored in sterile packaging until required. We follow extremely strict infection protocols to keep you and our dental team safe.

Cone beam CT Scanners*. Our cone beam CT scanner is a very sophisticated piece of technology allowing us to take 3D images of your teeth and jaws. These images are far more detailed than an x-ray, showing the quality of your jawbone and important structures. CT scans are used to plan dental implant surgery, orthodontic treatment and to assess your jaw joints or impacted teeth.

Soft tissue laser. It can be used to treat gum disease, to re-contour the gums or to whiten teeth. It can also provide temporary relief for minor pain such as TMD. Soft tissue lasers are comfortable and safe and often there is no need for local anaesthetic. Afterwards healing is faster with fewer side-effects and there is a reduced risk of infection due to the laser helping to destroy bacterial infections.

CEREC Crowns, Inlays and Onlays*. Our on-site CEREC machine can mill beautiful ceramic restorations while you wait, using the very latest CAD/CAM technology. Each porcelain restoration is precision-made and hand-finished to blend in beautifully with your natural teeth. These high-quality restorations are strong and long-lasting and require just one appointment.
